Commercial Diving Pro does not currently operate a central patient-data storage service for information entered into the application's operational forms.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security of the device on which information is stored.
5. Patient and Sensitive Information
Some functions of Commercial Diving Pro may allow users to enter information relating to a diver, patient or other individual.
Such information may include information that is sensitive or subject to additional legal protections.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority and lawful basis to collect, enter, store, use and share such information.

6. Reports, PDFs and Exported Information
Commercial Diving Pro can generate PDF reports and other records.
Once a report has been generated, saved, printed, emailed, uploaded, shared or otherwise exported from the application, the resulting copy may be stored outside the application and under the control of the user or another organisation.
Users are responsible for ensuring that exported or shared documents containing personal or confidential information are handled securely and only shared with appropriate recipients.
7. Information Shared by Users
Where the application provides community or discussion functionality, users may choose to submit information, comments or other content.
Users should not publish personal information, confidential information or commercially sensitive information about themselves or others unless they have appropriate authority to do so.
8. Information We Receive Automatically
Commercial Diving Pro does not require users to create a traditional online account or provide an email address or password in order to use the application.
The Messroom discussion functionality uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to provide anonymous user identification and to store discussion topics and replies submitted by users.
When a user accesses the Messroom, Firebase may create an anonymous authentication identifier for that user. This identifier does not directly identify the user by name, email address or other contact information.
Discussion topics and replies submitted through the Messroom may be associated with this anonymous identifier so that the application can maintain the relationship between the user and the content they submit.
Commercial Diving Pro does not use this anonymous user identifier for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Firebase services are provided by Google and information processed through these services may be subject to Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.
Where technical information is processed by the platform on which the application is installed, such processing may also be subject to the privacy policies of the relevant platform provider, such as Google, Apple or Microsoft.
9. Sharing of Information
Commercial Diving Pro does not sell users' personal information.
Information entered into the application's local operational records remains on the user's device unless the user chooses to export, print, email, upload or otherwise share that information.
Information submitted through the Messroom discussion functionality, including discussion topics and replies, is processed using Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore provided by Google. This processing is necessary to provide the Messroom functionality.
Messroom content may therefore be transmitted to and stored by the relevant Firebase services in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Users may also choose to share information themselves, including by exporting reports, printing documents, sending files by email or using other sharing functions available on their device.
Where information is shared by the user, the recipient may process that information independently and under their own privacy arrangements.
10. Retention and Deletion
Information stored locally by the application may remain available until the user deletes it, removes it using an available application function, uninstalls the application, or otherwise manages the relevant data on their device.
Where information is deleted using an available application deletion function, it is removed from the application's local storage.
Messroom discussion topics and replies are stored using Firebase Cloud Firestore. These records may remain stored in the relevant Firebase services until they are deleted through the application's available functionality or otherwise managed by the service operator.
Users should also consider separately saved, exported, printed, emailed or otherwise shared copies and delete or securely manage those copies where appropriate.
Commercial Diving Pro does not make a guarantee that deletion from an application, Firebase service or device makes information permanently unrecoverable from every possible storage or backup system.
11. Data Security
Commercial Diving Pro takes reasonable steps in the design and operation of the application to support the security of information handled by the application.
However, users are responsible for the security of their own devices, user accounts, operating systems, backups and any copies of information they create or share.
12. Legal Basis for Processing
Where Commercial Diving Pro processes personal data for which it is the data controller, the applicable lawful basis will depend on the nature and purpose of the processing.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include processing necessary to provide a service requested by the user, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, or consent where consent is relied upon.
13. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, individuals may have rights concerning their personal information, including rights to:
- Request access to personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Request restriction of processing.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the application.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the application, the services provided, applicable law or the way information is handled.
